Shell Wyoming Cabins

The rules are plain enough: pay at booking, keep the campground quiet overnight, and do not test the no-smoking charge.

The policies at Shell Campground require full payment of the reservation total at booking. Check-in begins at 3:00 PM, and each cabin, tent, or RV room must be vacated by 10:00 AM. Guests present identification at arrival, while a credit card remains on file for damages even when the balance is paid in cash. Quiet hours run from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and generators cannot be operated during the stay. Pet-friendly amenities are available, though cabin and glamping guests pay per animal and must keep pets leashed. Smoking is prohibited inside all accommodations and on porches or patios. Cancellation penalties become strict within 14 days of arrival.

• Check-In

Check-in begins at 3:00 PM. Guests must present valid identification when arriving.

• Check-Out

Check-out is at 10:00 AM. Remaining beyond the stated checkout time may result in additional charges.

• Reservation Deposit

The entire reservation amount is due at the time of booking rather than through a partial deposit.

• Cancellation More Than 14 Days Before Arrival

Cancellations received more than 14 days before the first night incur a $25 fee for each accommodation reserved.

• Cancellation Within 14 Days

When a reservation is cancelled 14 days or less before arrival, the guest remains responsible for the full balance.

• Early Departure and Late Arrival

Refunds are not provided for arriving late or leaving before the reserved departure date.

• Hunting-Season Cancellations

Special cancellation rules apply to stays from September through November. A cancellation within two weeks of unsuccessful draw results carries a $25 fee per accommodation when proof is supplied. Later cancellations are charged the full balance.

• Payment and Damage Charges

The remaining balance must be paid in full at check-in. Cash may be used, but a credit card must be provided for damage or unpaid charges. Guests are financially responsible for damage caused by anyone in their party.

• Lost Keys

Cabin keys must be returned to the drop box by the front door. A lost key carries a $50 fee.

• Quiet Hours

Quiet hours run from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Generator use is not permitted in the campground.

• Cleaning Policy

Cabins are cleaned after checkout rather than during the stay. Extra supplies can be requested. Excessive cleaning is charged at $50 per hour, and missing towels are billed for replacement.

• Smoking Policy

Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas and on porches or patios. Violations carry a fee of at least $250, plus any repair or cleaning costs, and may result in removal from the campground.

• Pet Policy

Most pets are accepted at the property’s discretion. Cabin and glamping stays carry a $20 fee per pet, per night. Undisclosed animals are charged $75 per pet, per night. Pets must remain leashed, waste must be collected, and aggressive behavior can result in departure.

• RV Pet Policy

No pet fee applies to guests staying in their own RV or tent, though leash and cleanup rules still apply.

• Parking Policy

Vehicles and RVs must not be driven or parked on grass areas.
